Secure Sites

To protect yourself from fraud while shopping and banking online, always:

• Shop secure sites that encrypt (scramble) all information - Citi™ uses 128-Bit Encryption to transmit confidential data.
• Verify the URL (address) of the sites you visit. For secure sites, it should start with https (the "s" indicates it is secure). A padlock or key image should also appear at the bottom of your browser window.
• Use the log off or log out button to end a secure session instead of closing your browser.
• Never provide account information on a website that is not secure.

Fraud Early Warning

If we detect unusual activity on your Citi card account, we may temporarily block activity on the account until we can verify that it's actually you making those purchases and authorizing charges.
