Purchase Assurance

Purchase Assurance is a special benefit available automatically to Citi™ Platinum and Gold MasterCard® Cardmembers. If an item you've purchased in the last 90 days is lost, stolen or damaged, this insurance program ensures that you're covered. If an expensive hand-loomed rug gets damaged, or your handsome new briefcase is stolen, don't worry: eligible items will be replaced or repaired or you'll be reimbursed the purchase price.

This benefit is available to you right away, automatically. So there's no special registration. Most purchases are protected against risk of direct physical loss or damage, including loss by fire. And it doesn't matter where in the world you happen to be at the time or where the item was bought.

How to Make a Claim

To make a claim you must notify the Claims Administrator immediately.

From North America, call: 1-800-667-4273

From outside North American, call collect: 416-977-3306

The Claims Administrator will send you the appropriate claim form.
